swamp munny

I made this guy for a show at Boomerang Gallery that opens on Saturday. It's called "Show Me The Munny" and it will have around 50 artists who have all customized a toy called a Munny.

This is the one that I made:

He is painted with acrylics, and his hat and cloak are made of a combination of handmade wool felt (the lighter green) and purchased wool felt.

I love the colors you chose and the stitching on the leaves. He's great. I wish I could see what everyone came up with - sounds like a neat show.

Thanks Laurel and abbyjane!

i'll take pictures at the show and post them to my blog and on flickr. I already have seen two of the others and they are so different than mine! it's going to be a cool show.

I absolutely adore this piece, it has so much character and reminds of the toys found in the Kid Robot or Giant Robot stores.

You should make more of things like these and sell them, I would definitely get one!
