new love!!

oh dear. i have found a new love. encaustic painting!!!! it's got everything good. texture, luminosity, it's both additive and subtractive. subtle, delicate, weird and antiquated, plus it smells heavenly and is slightly dangerous.

i'm hooked. i'll post photos when i come up with something worth seeing.
